ABOUT THE BUILD

Nestled right at the doorstep of the driftless region, this home is a part of the new Fox Knoll Development in the city of Madison. Pioneering a development partnership with the City of Madison, Fox Knoll will receive funds for renewable energy investments from the City of Madison. We approached this design from two critical angles: One, to pay tribute to the historic prairie architecture that was born in southern Wisconsin. Secondly, to provide maximal glazing and roof area to the south to capture solar energy. We ended up with a lovely 5 bedroom, 3-bath family home designed to entertain.
